Elizabeth and Andrew met on a dating site called OK Cupid (which makes them feel old since that’s now not used much) on Feb 25, 2019. Elizabeth was immediately intrigued by his directness on asking her out.

Their first date was on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Rojos Mexican Restaurant in St Louis Park. Andrew made sure to pick a restaurant that was close for her since she was coming from work; Elizabeth loved that thoughtfulness. On their first date they talked about all the subjects which are supposed to be forbidden - religion, politics, family. 


All their ensuing dates were fun and the conversation flowed easily. One of their more memorable dates was going to an axe throwing bar. Andrew got the hang of it quickly, Elizabeth did not ;-) 


After two years of dating, they moved in together. Andrew put up with Elizabeths crazy border collies and taught them what it’s like to have a human who can actually throw a ball well. 


In August of 2021, Elizabeth had an amazing opportunity to get a little terrier puppy for an upcoming agility prospect. Andrew said yes. Side note- he made her promise to keep it at 3 animals total forever. And with that the two had Evie enter their lives. Even though Evie is technically the only dog that is “Andrew’s”, they all get spoiled rotten equally. 


On June 15, 2022, the two were eating dinner at home - don’t worry Andrew cooked the meal. As they were talking, they decided it was time to make it “official” and get married. 


And that brings you up to today which we are ready to celebrate the rest of their lives.
