Our Wedding

Due to the COVID-19 circumstances, Spencer and I decided it was in the best interest of our wonderful guests to postpone our wedding to March 27, 2021. We ended up getting married with our immediate families on May 2, 2020! We were at my family’s ranch in Utopia, Texas and it could not have been more beautiful. Amongst the tremendous blessing of making a covenant under God and having the majority of our immediate families there, we felt the ache of not having all of our friends and the rest of our family surrounding us. So now we will celebrate with all of you! We know that the Lord has had our story written long before we ever discovered it, and are confident that He is with us and determining our steps along the way! We are so excited to be married, and absolutely cannot wait to celebrate with all of our people on March 27th!

Welcome to Texas! While here, you must of course have some TexMex!! But other than Mexican, we have so many wonderful restaurants here in Houston, you can't really go wrong! Here are a few that we enjoy. Our favorite Mexican Restaurants: El Tiempo, Lupe Tortialla, Escalantes, Goode Company Cantina, Calle Onze, Superrica BBQ (as to be strictly compared to Kansas City BBQ of course): Goode Company BBQ, Rogels, Pizzitola's, Luling City Market Brunch: Downhouse, Dunlavey Kitchen, Benjy's, Backstreet Cafe, Emmaline, Eloise Nichols, Caracol, Helen in the Heights, North Italia

This museum just opened, it is phenomenal however emotional.

Holocaust Museum Houston

This is a beautiful, fun and FREE activity that would be lovely on an afternoon!

Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

We have a wonderful zoo here, with a great children's area as well!

Houston Zoo

Pack a picnic and go sit out on this beautiful outdoor space! It is in the Museum district right next to all of the museums.

Hermann Park

Walk this 3 mile route, or go sit in the newly renovated green spaces and walk around the pond hunting for turtles!

Memorial Park

One of Houston's most beautiful parts, and where Elizabeth and Spencer got engaged!!
