Please feel free to reach out to the couple with any questions that are not answered below.
What should I wear?
We invite our guests to dress up with us! The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. For ladies, this means an evening gown, dressy suit, or midi or knee-length formal cocktail dress. For gentleman, a tuxedo or dark suit and tie.
Where should I stay?
For your convenience, hotel blocks have been reserved at the same venue as the reception. Please see the "Travel & Accommodations" tab for more information. Booking links can be found by clicking "website" under each description.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP on this website by clicking the "RSVP" tab. Your entire party will appear when you type your name. To ensure we submit numbers to the venue in time, please do so ASAP, but at least by our deadline of April 13, 2024. Guests who have not done so by this time will be defaulted to "not attending," and we look forward to celebrating with you another time.
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes ahead of the 4:30 pm ceremony.
What is the parking situation?
The church's parking lot is located off of N. Martin Luther King Blvd behind the church and parking is complimentary for all wedding guests. If you are staying at the hotel, you are welcome to leave your car there and walk to the church. The hotel has valet as well as a self-park garage located underneath.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding reception is an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can enjoy a date night, but also understand if you are unable to attend.
*We have gotten a few questions about the ceremony. If your children will be in town with you, we do have space in the church if they wish to join for the ceremony!
Can I bring a date?
We are both blessed with extremely large families, and due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If we are able to accommodate your plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP. We apologize in advance but want to ensure that all of our family members fit within the capacity number that our reception venue has given us and that we are able to share an intimate day with family and close friends.
What about the day after?
Hotel check-out is at noon. If you are looking for a place to worship on Sunday morning, we invite you back to Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for services at 8:30 or 11:00 am. All are welcome. For Catholic Mass, Christ the King Cathedral is about a 5 minute drive for services at 7:30, 9:00, or 11:30 am.
