Evergreen is approximately 53 miles from Denver International Airport. We recommend renting a car with all wheel drive (AWD) or an SUV, as it will be winter, and Evergreen is at 7,220 feet which is basically the foothills of the Rockies.

Be sure to ask for the ZIEGLER-PARSONS wedding block when you call to get the discounted rooms. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Comfort Suites for both Friday and Saturday night. The hotel is on the north end of Evergreen just off of I-70 and is about 15 minutes from the heart of town. There's a pool and some rooms have mountain views!

A quaint little inn just three miles from the heart of town on Highway 74. There are only four cabins here, but they are so charming! Three of the four cabins sleep 2 people, while the fourth sleeps four. They one of the more luxurious options in Evergreen and they include breakfast at Country Road, which Jon, Liz, Izzy and Theo love!

We've had the best luck with rentals from Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The service is amazing and the shuttles come frequently.

Travel

Evergreen Lake House is the crown jewel of our community. Overlooking Evergreen Lake with majestic views from the deck or anywhere inside the building with the rustic log cabin charm of a mountain getaway. During the winter the Lake House is transformed into the Skating Center from Early December into Spring pending ice conditions.

Coffee! Jon and I haven't spent a day in Evergreen when we didn't make a stop at the Muddy Buck. Try the cinnamon rolls--get a big one. Go for it. You won't regret it. The Muddy Buck is a unique place in the small mountain community of Evergreen Colorado, located in the historic Evergreen Hotel building that was first established in 1892. A welcoming place that shares a love of coffee, music, Colorado craft beers, wine and great sandwiches with local characters and travelers. We roast our coffee on premises and offer all your favorite coffee drinks, as well as bag it for you to take home. On Thursday evenings from 6-9pm we host the most popular open mic in the Denver area and on Fridays we bring in both local and traveling musicians for an intimate experience.
