It all started with two neighbors enjoying their books outside. During the hot summer of 2020, both Ella and Patrick would spend their mornings on their porches with only a small fence in between. Out of curiosity, Patrick asked Ella about her book but unbeknownst to them, they started what would become a forever relationship. Following this moment were daily walks to talk about life and their days as well as fun adventures like seeing the local waterfall. Patrick and Ella would go on to have many more adventures like hikes, swimming in the Perry River with friends, and trips to different cities like Seattle.

Time passed and many adventures later, Patrick and Ella went to Joseph, Oregon for Christmas in 2023. Despite it being a cloudy day, Ella suggested taking pictures together at the lake. Ella set the scene to take pictures in front of the beautiful Wallowa Lake, and Patrick felt in his pockets for the tiny box he had put in there that morning. After a few photos, Ella turned away and Patrick got down on one knee, and the rest was history.

Patrick and Ella now live in Corvallis, Oregon with their tiny corgi, Lana, and both work for the Corvallis School District. Ella is a 4th grade teacher spreading the love and warmth she holds for everyone and Patrick is working to become a teacher at the middle school level. They spend their weekends with friends or go on new trips to new places(most notably Target). Patrick and Ella are so excited for this new chapter on July 19th shared with their loved ones. They hope and cannot wait to see you there.
