We would like all guests to wear semi-formal apparel to the ceremony. Expect a causal reception that utilizes the park amenities, if desired, bring a necessary change of clothes.
What is the venue like?
The park is tucked into tall pine trees surrounded by tons of walking trails and other amenities. Located in the center of the park is a pavilion that has a structural covering but no enclosure. We are hoping to have the ceremony outside in the open air. We are providing a large canopy for the reception.
What is there to eat?
Be ready to eat amazing pizza from Rafferty's in Nisswa. If you would like something else, you are more than welcome to bring it.
What is there to drink?
We are providing pop and water. If you would like to consume alcohol, we encourage you to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage).
IMPORTANT NOTE: the park does NOT allow any glass. Things that are allowed: Canned beverages, Boxed wine, Flasks of liquor, anything else without glass.
What can I do between ceremony and reception dinner?
We would love for you to participate in the park activities/amenities. The park amenities include pickleball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, softball, lots of beautiful walking trails, and nice playground for kids. If you would like to bring other yard games and sporting equipment, you are more than welcome.
What should I expect?
It is Minnesota, please expect sunshine, rain, snow, hot, warm, cold, freezing, and lots of bugs, bears are around, we found one in our garbage the morning we wrote this, no need to worry just stay close to a slow friend.
Who is in the wedding party?
Nobody. We love all of our friends the same and couldn't decide between the copious amounts of siblings and friends that David has.
