WEDDING DRESS CODE
Black tie preferred. For men, tuxedos or darker suits (black, dark grey, dark navy). For women, full length or long dresses. Since the wedding will primarily be outdoors, feel free to bring a pair of sunglasses.
WEDDING TRANSPORTATION
The wedding venue, Hotel Belles Rives, is in Antibes which is around 50 minutes from Nice. For the ease of guests, wedding day transportation will be provided from Nice in the form of buses. We prefer that everyone takes this mode of transportation to ensure guests arrive on time. Details about times and pick up location to follow. If you need to leave the venue before the wedding is over, one of the coordinators can assist in catching a taxi/Uber. Otherwise, the bus will take everyone back to Nice at the end of the event.
Traveling to Nice
Nice has its own international airport and is easily accessible from the United States. From several major cities, there is typically a direct flight. Otherwise, you will likely need a connecting flight to fly straight into Nice. When leaving from the U.S., you will arrive to France the next business day so plan accordingly (i.e. if you leave from Atlanta on a Monday afternoon, you will arrive in France the following day-Tuesday).
Some cities with airports that offer direct flights into Nice: Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York, Philadelphia.
If you prefer to fly to Paris first or are traveling in the area beforehand, consider taking the train to Nice for a scenic view.
**Make sure that you have a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of your departure.**
ACCOMODATIONS
Though the actual wedding will be in Antibes, we recommend staying in Nice. The mediterranean city has so much to offer including sightseeing, shopping, eating and beautiful beaches. The city is very walkable, but there is also a centrally located tram that can take you around the entire city.
We propose staying in one of the hotel suggestions or Airbnb/Vrbo rentals are also great options located throughout the city.
