Aaron and Ella Rose met in February 2022 through mutual circles in his medical school class. They exchanged phone numbers and stayed in touch, building a friendship over the next few months.

As they got to know each other, they bonded over their shared love of reading, binging movies, and a newfound love of Thai food. One of their first dates was at a Thai restaurant in Oklahoma City, and it quickly became a special place for them—so much so that they’ve gone there almost weekly for the past three years. Their conversations often led to deeper discussions about faith, and they quickly realized how important their shared love for Jesus was in their relationship.

On July 20, 2022, Aaron asked Ella Rose to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history. Since then, they have supported each other through med school, graduate school, and all of life’s big moments.

Then, on September 27, 2024, while Aaron was doing an anesthesiology rotation in Nashville, he proposed to Ella Rose at Opryland. It was a memorable moment in a place they had come to love, and she said yes.

Now, they’re excited to start their next chapter as husband and wife, continuing to grow together in love and faith.
