He and Ella have travelled all over the world together, and have known each other since the 7th grade. Compassionate and hilarious with annoyingly great hair. Amazing friend to Ella and Steve, and long-time partner of Ella's sister Colleen. He's a precious lamb and a bad-ass Environmental Inspector. He will make you feel good about yourself and then savagely defeat you in a game of Halo. A lover of nature and people, with blue eyes you can get lost in. He's the one you want to hug if you are having a bad day, or if you simply need a pick-me-up. Be sure to congratulate him and Colleen, who got engaged a month after Ella and Steve! Jessica, Jessica.. where for art thou, Jessica? We can tell you where she is! She's running a 5k, watching a musical, and crushing her latest zumba class. She's oh so sweet with the brightest personality you will ever meet! A teacher, tutor, caregiver, and more, this total gem will steal your heart and make you feel all ooey gooey inside. Best Friend of Ella since the 9th grade, she could tell you a thing or two about the bride! She's the type of person who is always happy to see you, and her positive spirit is infectious. PS. If you like to play Dungeons and Dragons, she is the most savage monster-killer out there and will keep you alive to adventure another day! Thanks Jess, we don't know what we would do without you!

Meet Alex! He's always down for a hangout breakfast, but never coffee. He's a super chill guy with hangout skills to match! Alex has been one of Stephen’s closest friends since the 8th grade, and is also friends with Ella's brother Ryan. When he’s not tinkering with computers or flying his drone, he’s dreaming up new get-rich-quick schemes that you will wish you thought of yourself. Not only is he friendly and kind, he's resilient and patient (he's been tolerating Stephen's sass for well over a decade). In an interview with the groom, Alex was described as "a good dude." Arguably, Alex is as good as it gets. <3

Stop what you are doing and pay attention! This woman is fierce! She's the smartest cookie Ella knows, and has been her #1 science buddy and Bestie since the 8th grade! A new mamma and a stellar Teacher, Cassie and Ella are former room mates, studied Biology together at Trent University, travelled abroad together, and share a love for cottage and lake life. She's a killer Dungeon Master, has a green thumb in the garden, and can do absolutely anything with a ball of yarn and a set of needles. Make way for this beautiful Disney Princess, except in reality, she's more of a Queen!

Jeremy is Stephen's good friend and Alex's the groomsman's younger brother. Like the couple, he also grew up in Oxford Station (in our opinion, a place home to some of the very best people). He is a lover of hockey, and pays the bills with his own super cool carpentry side hustle. "Jere" is a great guy who would do anything for you without expecting anything in return. Stephen still owes Jeremy a pizza for helping him move (he owes a pizza to Alex, too, for that matter). When Stephen is making fun of Alex, Jeremy is his greatest partner in crime. When Ella asked Stephen how he would describe Jeremy, he told her that he's "very tall" and that "he's always excited." Almost as excited as we are to have him in our wedding party!

Did someone say INCREDIBLE? Meet Laura. Technically Ella's cousin, but has always been more of a big sister. She's the person you want at the party. She's lively, loving, and hilarious. Everyone is welcome when Laura is around. If she's not camping, she's watching HBO, playing with her three beautiful daughters, or decorating the house for each and every holiday (we love this!). Laura is someone we are lucky to know. She's strong, caring, and loves Dawson's Creek. She has staked a claim on Leonardo Dicaprio, and will steal your heart with her laugh. Get ready for a great time with Laura!

Basketball, burgers, and buying plane tickets. Meet dear Phil! Former co-worker and best friend to Ella since 2012. When working at Fort Wellington in Prescott, Ella and Phil carpooled to work together every day for two summers. Ella and Phil were also living in Europe at the same time in 2013, and took advantage of this to travel and visit each other in new and amazing places! Phil is a fierce friend, another must-have at any party, and even better if you are feeling down. In his spare time, you might catch him recording a podcast, doing yoga, playing volleyball, or catching up with his large friend group! A music enthusiast, concert-goer, and tea-lover, Phil is oh-so addictive, and we all want a slice!

Roisin! Where to start? Let's start with her name. This gorgeous Irish lass's name is pronounced "Row-Sheen." She and Ella are cousins and have grown up together since their young years! From playing with toy horses to giggling about their newest crushes, Ella and Roisin have been through it all! Ella was lucky enough to be Roisin's Maid of Honour at her Wedding in 2010. Roisin is an intelligent and beautiful supermom who has given birth to five beautiful children (and counting!). Like Ella, she's a huge Harry Potter fan. She gives a killer back rub, loves her family hard, and has the most enchanting singing voice you will ever hear (we are hoping she will sing something for us at the wedding). We love our Rosh, and so will you!

Folks, prepare yourselves to meet an all around great guy. Kirtus has had a raging man-crush on the groom since the glorious flowing locks of Stephen's old hair first made their way into his life. All those years ago at Food Basics, their beautiful bromance began. This legend is a music lover, a heavy metal drummer, and a connoisseur of unusual compliments. "Kirtus is a strange little man," says Stephen, smiling fondly as he thinks of his quirky and awesome former coworker. Watch out for Kirtus, he's coming for us all, and it's guaranteed to be a great (and very sexy) time!
