I also realized i might have also had a crush on him soooo i said yes & January 2023 we went on our first date while staffing DTS in Kona, Hawaii! We dated in Hawaii (such a dream) for 3 months

February 14, 2023 officially bf and gf!!

We led (separate) teams for 3 month outreaches in different parts of New Zealand! Mostly long distance, but we were able to see eachother multiple times!!

I (ella) went back to NC in June 2023 and Dylan to his hometown in Idaho. We dated long distance June-October 2023 (grew a lot in communication), while flying coast to coast a couple times to see each other and be with eachother’s families.

As Dylan began his apprenticeship (full time school and work) in plumbing, I (ella) had the freedom (with no “real” job haha) to drive to Idaho so we could date in person as we were anticipating marriage! I drove out here in October and have been staying with the most awesome family while working a couple jobs. Meanwhile, Dylan has a continued in his trade as he felt the Lord lead “Work hard and become a leader” Proverbs 12:24

After a year of dating, WE’RE ENGAGED!!!! Such an exciting and rewarding moment! It was a year of learning to wait on the Lord and trust His timing is perfect. So fun and awesome to grow and do it together…NOW MARRIAGE!!!!:) can’t wait to see ya’ll there!
