His side of the story:Determined to pursue his goals, a studious young plant nerd found it hard to take any time to leave the comfort of his study (the two-bedroom dorm he turned into a luxurious multi-purpose office, theater and recording studio) for any purpose other than lectures, or lunch. This young man would soon find that a world outside his cave did exist. Meanwhile, a creative, cute, curly haired girl was having a miserable time at a cold, disgusting shack her and her roommates called "The Lodge."One Sunday, their paths converged at a church service. After being introduced to one another through a friend they both knew…btw thanks Haley…their friendship began. From hikes to swing dancing, skiing and long talks about life, they became best friends. After some time as friends, he realized that her personality was so resonant, he could hear her even when she was not around. That's when he knew. I'm not going to lie and say that their relationship was always some dreamy adventure, as the realist of the relationship, I will inform you that the hard times were not easy. But the good times were also very rewarding. Through it all, they grew very much. The rest is history.

Introvert meets Extrovert

A good friend of mine told me about this awesome guy from her home town. Everything sounded great until I heard these two words, "Marching Band". From that point I said no way, not happening! After first meeting at church, a few run-ins on Stadium Way and a hang out at Cougar Country, I knew he was the guy. My view of football games changed. Instead of being excited for the next touch down, I was waiting for the half time show to watch Cody in the marching band. He showed me a whole new perspective of life. From there on the rest has been history.
