We encourage our out of town friends who are staying for a little while to use our wedding as a lunch point for many other outdoor adventures. Below is a list of some of our favorites.
If you're planning to camp using a proper campground we recommend booking in advance.
North Cascades National Park

Only a 45 minute drive from the venue, lake diablo is a must visit if you plan on going out this way.
The San Juan Islands
The San Juan Islands has multiple islands accessible from Anacortes (1 hour 20 minute drive) via Ferry or you can charter a boat or seaplane from Bellingham, Anacortes, and most places along the coastline. One of the smaller islands (Sucia) is an entire state park only accessible by private boat. The San Juans boast beautiful scenery with orcas and bioluminescent plankton!
