Our story began at Campbell University. I joined a friend group that included Elle, and while everyone around us thought we would be a great match, we first focused on being the best friends we could be to those around us. Little did we know, the connection we had was growing deeper, waiting for the right moment to shine.

On February 21, 2022, we officially started dating, and our relationship blossomed in a beautiful space filled with faith and community. From cute campus dates to special dinners out, every moment we spend together is special.

When summer arrived, Elle took an internship in Georgia, and though we were apart, we talked every night, building our bond over long-distance conversations.

Through the next school year and summer, our bond deepened and we found ourselves sharing more than just fun moments. We were each other's support system through life’s ups and downs.

As time passed, our biggest change came when Elle’s determination led her to graduate early and start her master’s program at UNCG, while I completed engineering school at Campbell.

Despite the challenges, we stayed connected daily and cherished our weekend visits. Our time together will always be something I cherish most about our relationship. Elle is the best person you could meet because she cares so deeply about people. From our first moment to every moment after I knew she was the one.

When summer approached once more, I knew I wanted to take the next step in our journey together. I brought Elle to one of our favorite parks and proposed. We celebrated the moment with our loved ones, knowing that we were ready to embark on this next chapter together.

And to Elle, I love you and can't wait to spend my life with you.

Harrison wrote our story so beautifully. His kinds words are evidence of the Lord's kindness to us. So all I will add is, to you Harrison, I love you more everyday and with you is my favorite place to be.
