Davis and Ellen's love story began in a small classroom in Fort Mill, South Carolina. They were just kids in the same 5th grade class, unaware of the journey fate had in store for them. However, life took Ellen away to Greenville in the 6th grade, and their paths diverged.

Years passed, and they found themselves crossing paths once again when Davis reached out to Ellen on Instagram after seeing her post a picture in Columbia for a South Carolina vs Clemson game. They were not able to reconnect at the time, but it reopened communication after 7 years apart and a spark was ignited. But after graduating college, Ellen moved to the bustling streets of New York City, while Davis remained in South Carolina.

Despite the distance, their connection endured. Thanks to the wonders of social media, Davis reached out to Ellen on Instagram, reigniting their friendship. Soon, FaceTime became their lifeline, bridging the gap between Fort Mill and the Big Apple.

Ellen returned to South Carolina, and their first in-person date in Greenville was nothing short of magical. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Davis would make frequent trips to New York City to be with Ellen, proving that love knows no distance.

Their relationship flourished, and Ellen eventually moved back to the Carolinas. Soon after they moved in together, creating a home filled with laughter and love. After dating for over a year, Davis knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Ellen.

In March of 2023, with the ocean waves as their witness, Davis dropped to one knee and proposed to Ellen, sealing their commitment to each other.

Now, as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives together, Davis and Ellen are thrilled to announce their upcoming wedding in Ellen’s beloved hometown of Greenville, South Carolina.

Surrounded by family and friends, they will exchange vows and begin their journey as husband and wife in May of 2024, a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of second chances.
