Ellen and Mac are both originally from St. Louis, where they attended local high schools and grew up about 10 minutes down the street from one another. Even with that in common, it was not until their first semester of their freshman year of college at the University of Missouri-Columbia that they first were introduced to each other.

In the Fall of 2012, Mac needed a date to his fraternity formal in Memphis, TN. As freshman and new to college, Mac and Ellen were both eager to meet new people and were introduced to each other by a good mutual friend, Courtney Brooks (Bridesmaid). As soon as that connection was made, Mac then asked Ellen to be his formal date in which Ellen happily accepted. The weekend in Memphis was one they will never forget.

As Ellen and Mac have gone through life together in college and thereafter, they have shared many adventures. Whether it be Pig Roast, Blues games, backpacking Europe, Volleyball with the Brentwood Bad Boys, or just a dinner date on a Friday night, Ellen and Mac always have always been by each other’s side. They are so excited and thankful to share this big weekend with all of their best friends and family!
