Ellen Ann Dutton born and raised in Houston, Texas

BOTH... University of Texas fans for football, Austin and Dutton family tradition.

2006
Ellen met Sam... Deerfield- Houston, TX.
Many church camps, neighborhood gatherings, Cy-Springs HS, and tons of friends and fun.... Sam went to UT, Ellen went to Kilgore College, and Clint went to UT.

2010
Sam met Clint.
Clint met Ellen... Merkeys home- Houston, TX.

2012
Ellen transferred to UT after completing her years as a Kilgore College Rangerette.
Clint and Sam survived and thrived at UT.

Fast forward- Lots of UT tailgates, Elm Wood house festivities and awesome friends...

2013
Pause- SXSW week walking to 6th street with 15+ people… Ellen asked Clint to promise to protect her and not lose her in the sea of crazy awesome friends whom she grew up with… Clint agreed and in an effort to keep his promise never let go of her hand.

Fast forward- Ellen lived in West Campus, Clint in North Campus… so they would always meet at the turtle pond on campus to study and walk the entire campus multiple times to just continue to hangout. For the record… For the first semester ever at UT, Clint studied. AND, also made straight As (in the engineering department, so not fair).

March 2013
Pause- THE OFFICIAL FIRST DATE ! Clint wanting to do something for Ellen's Birthday, he officially invited Ellen to dinner the text thread went like this…

Clint- What are you doing for dinner?
Ellen- Eating Dinner.
Clint- Would you want to eat dinner with me?
Ellen- Of coure! (They decided on Hula Hut)
Clint- Great, pick me up at 7. (No car, problems. haha)

After sharing in our love of margaritas, queso and chicken tubular tacos… they we inseparable.

2014
Ellen graduated from UT and moved to Houston
Clint graduated from undergrad at UT and started grad school.

2015-2016
Lots of driving, laughing, camping, singing, studying, traveling and MORE.

2017
Clint graduated from grad school at UT
Clint moved to Houston

August 18th 2017- UT Turtle Pond- Austin, Texas
Clint popped the question, she said YES!

And so, the adventure begins. #intothewoods
