Where should we park?

If you're staying at one of our hotels, you may wish to ditch the car altogether and take the 10-minute walk to the Chapel! If you do opt to drive, there are free spots reserved specifically for guests of the Jones/Johnson wedding at Decatur First United Methodist Church, which is located at 300 E Ponce de Leon (right behind the Chapel on Sycamore, at the corner of E Ponce and Commerce) from 4:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. Please look for the event parking sign. There is also metered street parking on Sycamore on the blocks between the Chapel and the Decatur Square (meters are free after 6 p.m.). Lastly, if you're interested in train-ing over to Decatur for the evening, the Chapel on Sycamore is about a five-minute walk from the Church Street Marta Station in Downtown Decatur.

Can we bring our kids and dates?

Although we love your kiddos, we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated due to space constraints.

What should we wear?

We are so excited to celebrate with y'all in our best springtime "formal" attire! For the gals, that might mean your favorite gown, long cocktail dress or other shoe-length frock. For the fellas, that might look like a suit and tie (or bow tie!). For lack of a better descriptor, it's classic "wedding guest attire." Just don't forget your boogie shoes!

Where should we park for the welcome party?

Street parking is limited around the restaurant, so your best bet is to use rideshare. Das is also a short walk from the King Memorial Marta station. If you do opt to drive, the best option for parking is street parking in the Grant Park neighborhood, on the other side of Memorial Drive across from Das. Please see the map below for the streets highlighted in green.

Can we film the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you do not photograph or film the ceremony with phones or other devices. Our amazing photographer is going to capture every minute, and we are so excited to be in the moment with all of you!
