Matt and I met in 2019 at Mardi Gras when he went with his brother and their friends and I went with Allison Torretta, his cousin. Allison and I were best friends and she invited me to come with her and their group and meet up with our other friends. We maybe said 5 words to Matt and his group and then we never saw them again that day. Fast forward to November of 2019, Allison invited me to a family party at her house with everyone and so I came to hangout. Matt was there and this time we actually got to talk and flirt a little bit and I remember telling Al that I thought he was really cute. Well Al worked her magic and the next day Matt was sliding into my messages asking me on a date. We started seeing each other and by December 5th, 2019 we were official! Dated through covid which was very interesting and by December of 2020 Matt purchased his first house, which became our first home together. We did a basic redesign of the inside of the house and finally moved in in February of 2021. As a couple we’ve done many things together which include traveling, hosting at the new house, and attending 8 weddings for our dearest friends. Finally May 5th of 2023 came around which was our trip to Colorado for one of those weddings we had and at the very top of Pikes Peak with the help of our closest friends, Matt popped the question in 28 degree weather and 30 mph winds! I was very surprised and of course said yes! 


We have lived together for almost 3 years now and we love our home we’ve created! We have since accrued a riding lawnmower, a push lawnmower, Matt’s first smoker and an outdoor shed. No pets yet but we hope to eventually get a dog. We each have 2 nephews, with two of them both being named Landon. We have remodeled one bathroom since moving in while all the other work to the house was done before we moved in. Getting married has been something we’ve talked about for the majority of our relationship and we can’t wait for it to finally be here! After our wedding we are traveling to Barbados for our honeymoon. Very excited for our future together and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
