Ellen and Andrew first met on April 30, 2018 at Eli's on Whitney in Hamden, CT on what was likely the sneakiest blind date ever. Ellen had plans to grab dinner and drinks with her dear friend, Tim that night - but it just so happened that Tim also had plans with one of his friends, named Andrew. Tim ended up bringing Andrew along for dinner and drinks that night, and from the moment Ellen saw Andrew's "We The People" tattoo, it was all over for her.

Over the next two weeks, Andrew and Ellen found every excuse to see each other, and ended up making things official on May 10, 2018 after a long, rainy night at Yankee Stadium watching the Yankees lose to the Red Sox.

Ellen and Andrew spent the next 6 years going on cruises, seeing concerts, traveling, exploring breweries, celebrating major life events together, and falling more and more in love.

Fast forward to May 24, 2024. Ellen and Andrew were in Portland, ME celebrating their 6-year anniversary. After a nice dinner and long, beautiful walk by the water front...... they went back to their Airbnb and Ellen got ready for bed. She had no idea that Andrew was about to be on one knee asking her to marry him. It was the easiest "yes" of her life! The pair spent the rest of that weekend celebrating their engagement and got started planning their wedding right away.

Andrew and Ellen are so excited to celebrate their love surrounded by all of their favorite people, and to start their married life together.
