Ellery and Jacob met at UK while they both were pursuing their Master's of Public Health degrees. After seeing each other for the first time in Health Policy, Ellery developed a huge crush on Jacob and was very excited when he followed her on Instagram. After texting on and off, Jacob asked Ellery to go on a first date. On February 16th, 2022, Ellery and Jacob had their first date at The Cellar in Lexington for trivia night. They were both mutually mourning the Bengals loss in the Super Bowl, and Jacob came up with the trivia team name "The Eli Apple Fan Club". Ellery was nervous that no one would get the joke, but the whole restaurant laughed when the host said the team name aloud. They enjoyed getting to know each other and stayed until the restaurant closed. On March 9th, 2022, Ellery asked Jacob to ask her to be his girlfriend, which he did and the rest is history!

We have loved dating these past 2 years and have enjoyed doing all of the things that we love together including thrifting, eating hibachi, and watching Survivor. We are very excited to continue this journey for many more years to come. Thank you for being a part of our love story!
