Tessa and Ellie were college roommates, and Tessa enjoyed several holiday celebrations with Ellie's family throughout our years at Mount Holyoke. Tessa also essentially became a welcome member of Ellie's high school friend group. Despite living on opposite coasts, Tessa and Ellie have managed to see each other at least once a year since Tessa moved back to California, mostly due to Tessa's impressive commitment to returning to MA regularly. Here we are in front of our freshman dorm!

Kaitlin and Ellie really bonded in high school on the freshman softball team, and we stayed in close touch through college and after. Ellie loves "talking shop" about teaching and all things education- related with Kaitlin, and Bill is always glad to have another friend with his appreciation for New England sports teams and dry humor. Kaitlin has already made the trek to see Ellie and Bill in their new digs, and she enjoyed her first Bow Lake BBQ this summer!

Josephine has been a sweet and loving sister from day one, and Ellie is delighted that she wants to be a part of the wedding. Ellie loves going to Western Mass to see Jo, and Josephine has been great about visiting Ellie throughout the years. Josephine shares Ellie's love of Dunkin donuts and animals, and she kindly indulges her desire to fully spoil Cleo the cat!

Ellie and Allie go way back to the age of 5, and we have fondly addressed our respective families as "second fam" through the years. We were attached at the hip through much of middle school, and our families were quite patient with our incessant laughter. Since then, we have seen each other through many of life's major milestones, and we have been committed to visiting one another in our respective locations- everywhere from Vermont's Northeast Kingdom to Hawaii. Ellie is so glad that her entire second fam will be in attendance at the wedding!

Ellie has always looked up to her cousin Vanessa. When we were younger, Vanessa would sometimes visit from her NYC home. Ellie always looked forward to these visits- when Vanessa came, quiet little Concord became a more exciting place. We shared many memorable family holidays together, often coupled with some impromptu skits, which our parents graciously tolerated.

Ellie and Margaret were great friends at Mount Holyoke, and we really bonded in econ 101 and a J term "History of War" class. We also visited each other in Dublin and Rome during our semesters abroad. After college, we were committed to visiting each other regularly, and we both endured many long bus rides between Boston and New York throughout our twenties. Ellie is so grateful for her close relationship with Margaret and fellow bridesmaid Tessa Hammer; it is definitely a solid trifecta!
