Essential info

Are there separate day and evening guests?

No, everyone is welcome for the whole event; however, if you would like to attend only part of the day then please feel free: just let us know in your RSVP. See Schedule for details.

Can I bring my partner/child(ren)?

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of all invited guests.

Shall I bring confetti?

We will provide biodegradable confetti so no need to remember your own.

What shall I wear?

We want all our guests to feel as comfortable as possible, so wear whatever you like! We are aiming for relaxed, colourful and nature-inspired. The only thing we request is for guests to please avoid buying anything new, as we are trying to make the day as sustainable as possible. Have some fun in the charity shops!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ideal is for the ceremony to be outdoors, but this being England we have a wet weather plan in place! The reception will be split between outdoors, a marquee, and the community house itself.

Do you have a gift list or registry set up?

We have everything we need to continue to share our lives together, and our priority is to celebrate with you. All we ask is that you bring whatever alcoholic drinks you would like for the day (we will provide a selection of softs).

Where can I park?

There is very limited parking at the venue itself, which will be reserved for guests with mobility restrictions. There is a larger car park a short walk away. We ask that you car/taxi share where you can.

What do I need to know about physical accessibility during the day?

Unfortunately both front and back doors to the House have a small number of stairs; there is a portable ramp available. Ceremony seating (if outside) will be benches; chairs with backs are available if needed. The main parking is a few minutes' walk from the House, although there are a small number of spaces on site. If you require any of the above, please let us know in your RSVP. There is a disabled toilet on site.

Will there be a quiet space available?

There is a separate sitting room suitable for taking some time out, having a catnap, breastfeeding, etc.

Is it okay to take photos/videos during the wedding?

We will be joined on the day by a fantastic professional photographer who will capture all the magic. We ask that you please refrain from taking your own photos during the ceremony, but afterwards please feel free to take photos and videos and share them with us after!

What drink will be provided on the day?

Guests will be offered a welcome drink following the ceremony, and there will be soft drinks available throughout the day (including tea and coffee on demand!). If you would like to bring any other drinks then please feel free.

What food will be provided on the day?

We will be having a wedding breakfast of vegetable paella, which will be vegan, gluten free and nut free. Please note that there will not be a separate evening meal, but there will be plenty of cake, and nibbles will be on offer throughout the day.

Where can I stay?

There is a list of suggested accommodation options on the 'Travel and accommodation' page. If you let us know where you are planning to stay, we can put you in touch with other people in case you want to co-ordinate lift/taxi shares.

Will there be anything happening on the Sunday?

We will be packing down the venue on the Sunday morning, so if anyone would like to come and help and/or bring a picnic lunch to have at the venue then you would be very welcome! Please let us know if you would like to join us for this.
