I met Asiyah in nursing school 8 years ago! Right away we learned that we could lean on each other to get through difficult times. Our friendship grew when I moved to Seattle and relied on her to be my hiking and adventuring buddy, driving all over the Pacific NW to explore. Asiyah is a dreamer and goal-setter, always role-modeling self-confidence. I admire her very much for always standing up for what she believes in. I would describe Asiyah as charismatic!

Maid of Honor

Kelsey and I met 20 years ago in 6th grade and have been close ever since! Fortunately, she sat in my school bus seat, forcing us to to get to know each other over our 20-minute ride to and from school. Middle and high school years can be rough! I am beyond thankful that Kelsey had my back throughout it all😊 She’s extremely loyal to her friends. She hates change, but will do it when adventure calls. After OT school she worked as a traveler in Austin and Denver. You will frequently find her in the Colorado mountains hiking with Kira, her sweet Golden Retriever. I would describe Kelsey as devoted.

Kelsey Dirks! My younger cousin but my role model nonetheless. She's a great friend to have because you know she'll always give you an honest opinion and solid advice that makes you think life's questions can be easily answered. She's hella creative and willing to take on difficult and new craft projects that actually turn out on the first attempt! I'm so grateful to be related to this determined, independent woman. She knows what she wants and goes after it. Having lived apart for awhile, I'm excited we have now bought houses near each other! I would describe Kelsey as tenacious.

Man of Honor

One of my closest friends, Jens happens to also be my Big brother! He has always role-modeled what it means to be honest and authentic. Along with our partners, Erik & Tate, we love to try new restaurants, meet for game nights and cocktails, and travel anywhere near and far. We have the same humor and both happen to be hilarious, so we often make each other breathless from laughing! :) Jens is very friend-oriented and loves meeting new people. I would describe Jens as passionate.

Amanda Mascolo. Wow. Tate and I won the jackpot living with her for 8 months in Vermont a year ago! There is NO ONE better to have as an adult roommate. She's the definition of easygoing and kind. We loved exploring the various scenery around the North East Kingdom, the tasty culinary options in Burlington, and NYC at Christmastime with her. Born and raised on the east coast, her laid-back personality belongs in the Midwest. You want her as your nurse; you want her as your friend; you just want her around. I would describe Amanda as compassionate.

Aly has to be one of the top 10 sweetest people in North America. I had the good fortune of spending a two-week, unplanned vacation with her in Seattle. Aly freely gave me her time and friendship without hesitation. Her soothing voice and engaged presence always leaves me feeling at peace. Aly will surprise you with her spontaneity and willingness to embrace change. I would describe Aly as sincere.
