Drew and Ellie have known of each other since they were in seventh grade. Their mutual friend, Lauren Williamson, had been trying to get them together since middle school. Ellie met Drew's dad when he worked at Heritage, and then the match making started again. The timing was never quite right until Ellie's 21st birthday. Drew messaged Ellie "happy birthday", and the rest was history. They went on their first date on March 4, 2022, started dating on April 22, 2022, and got engaged on May 4, 2023. They can't wait to start their forever on June 28, 2024.
