Our Wedding

Ellie's side:We met in the spring of 2024 at Rudy's Steakhouse in White Bear Lake Minnesota. I pulled into the parking lot at Rudy's and this muscular intense man walked up to me with a huge smile on his face and said, "Hey, I'm Cody Quinn". Ever since that dinner we have been hanging out every day like best friends. I knew when Cody said yes to helping me go get a refrigerator for my new home for our second date that he was a great guy;) I may have been taking advantage of the fact that he has a truck, but I also just wanted to know if he was actually serious and this was a great test:) He immediately invited me to join him at his CrossFit gym, and we spent much of our time getting to know each other while sweating our butts off at that gym, riding Polaris toys around Minnesota and watching way too much Yellowstone. It only took me about a week to learn that this man meant what he said and said what he meant. And it only took about a month to know that I really wanted to spend the rest of my life with this feisty intense cauliflower eared man! Soon enough we packed all our stuff into a truck and drove off to Washington state to start our lives together near family. I cannot wait to marry my best friend!Cody's side:I have the benefit of reviewing Ellie’s story before writing this so I will start by pointing out she likely flew into that Rudy’s parking lot 10 mph over the speed limit as she has consistently treated speed limits as guidelines for the entirety of the relationship. I’m also intrigued to learn our second date was the test when our third was helping her move. I’m on board with the rest. To the point this girl means the world to me. She’s kind, she’s driven, she knows what she wants and she makes coming home the best part of every day. She is my best friend and I’m looking forward to doing life with her.

There was no question in my mind who would be my maid of honor, my favorite sister, Katrina.  There is no one like her.  She adds a splash of color in this life and truly, there is never a dull moment with her.  She is such an amazing human and I am proud to call her my sister.

Welp, my brother married one of my best friends and now she is family.  I met Jen in 2003. She has always been like a big sister to me and I could not pick a better woman to have married my brother and raise my nieces.  Jen is an amazing human being and I am glad to call her my sister in law.

I have been friends with Jacquline for about 12 years now.  Talk about a good friend.  Jacquline is always there and always amazing! In case you don't know her, she is super woman. She owns a few businesses and has six kids.  Let's just say if the world comes to an end this is who I want to be right next to.

I had to ask one of my Minnesota friends to represent all my "Linda's". (iykyk)  I asked Jess to stand in that place.  Jess has been a very good friend to me particularly in these last few years.  She has always felt like a sister and friend that I can talk to about anything.   She is a badass business woman and if you are in need of someone to tell you like it is, Jess is your girl:)

Leavenworth WA is simply a fun town to go hang out in for a day. There are plenty of places to eat and drink as well as hikes near by.

If you are wanting to be adventurous, rent a motor to ride from The Last Resort. There are plenty of places to ride out in Roslyn WA and Cle Elum WA including Salmon Le sac and Lake Gallagher.

Housing during your time here. 

We love your kids, and they are absolutely welcome. That said, with almost 50 little guests on the list, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance if they will be attending or if you are planning a kid free night. Side note: We will have a small building that you can bring your children into if need be for quiet time if they start to cry during the ceremony or if you need a place to feed them.
