All guests will be transported to Heart Island courtesy of the Bride and Groom's parents via a private ferry. The ferry boat will begin boarding at 2 pm on wedding day but please be at the boarding station at least 15 minutes ahead of time. This is very important! The ferry will leave Alexandria Bay at 2:15 pm and will drop off guests at the castle 2:30pm. After the ceremony, the ferry will begin boarding at 5:30pm and will depart at 5:45 pm. The ferry will deboard at Alexandria Bay at 6pm.

The ferry boat will arrive at Heart Island around 2:30 pm. Guests are free to roam around castle grounds, use the restroom, and buy concessions from 2:30-3:15 pm. Guest seating officially begins at 3:00pm. All guests should aim to be in their seats at 3:15 pm. The processional is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm.

All guests will need directions to Uncle Sam Boat Tours in Alexandria Bay, NY. Here is the Address: 45 James Street Alexandria Bay, NY 13607. Parking will be directed there. If possible, carpool so that all guests are able to find parking. As for the reception, guests will arrive on Alexandria Bay around 5:40 pm and will be deboarded hopefully within ten minutes or less time. Guests will be able to drive to Clayton, NY which is about 20 minutes away from Alex Bay. Clayton, NY is a small town and they do have parking around town but it is on a first come first serve basis. We suggest that drivers drop their passengers off at the front of Clayton Opera house being going to find parking. Here is the address to Clayton Opera House: 405 Riverside Dr Clayton, NY 13624. There are public lots behind Watertown Savings Bank off of James St, and in the Lions Field parking lot on Webb St if you are unable to find street parking as there are going to be other weddings in Clayton that day as well.

In our ceremony programs we instruct wedding guests to stay after the ceremony for photos; however due to time constraints we may not be able to get pictures will all families at the ceremony venue. We will be more than happy to take pictures with everyone at the reception.

We will be serving dinner at around 7 at the reception venue. If you feel that you will be hungry before then there are concessions once you deboard the ferry at Heart Island. You are also more than welcome to bring snacks as there are picnic tables strewn throughout the island.

As far as we know, our wedding day will be a hot one and the ceremony venue is outdoor. Please properly hydrate and wear sunscreen. In case of rain, all guests will be directed to a different part of the castle where the ceremony will be held. Please let us know if you have any questions.
