Our Wedding

Ours was a modern love story: we met on the dating app Hinge (insert nervous laughter here). We were both discouraged from our efforts on the dating apps and the disappointment it often brought. We were both about ready to leave the online dating scene, when I liked Jared on Hinge, and he liked me back; talk about God’s timing! On our first date, we met at a Mexican restaurant on Lake Hefner called Mama Roja. Seemingly instantly, the first date nerves melted away. We talked and laughed and ate some great food! We both enjoyed ourselves and wanted to see each other again. Through our initial conversations, we realized that there was something different about each other. Both of us not only really enjoyed each other’s company and sometimes goofy sense of humor, but we also shared the same faith and values as well as a similar picture of what we wanted in life. What followed were many more dates, Sonic runs, walks, sunsets, going to church together, roadtrips, cooking and much more! After a year of dating, Jared proposed on June 20, 2025. Through all of this we fell madly in love; the end.
