Maya and Ellie almost met more times than seems possible. From going to the same school, having the same friends, and both being performing arts nerds, it's honesty impressive it took a dating app for them to actually meet.

At their first date, Ellie thought she blew it when she snorted laughing at a joke Maya made, and spilled her entire glass of water on her. Miraculously, Maya only found her more charming (and was honestly thrilled it wasn't her who spilled the water). From there, it was harder to keep them apart than to keep them together.

Despite Ellie being a planner and Maya being impulsive, Maya still managed to surprise Ellie with a proposal that had them both crying.
