RSVPS can be submitted through this website! This can be found under the 'RSVP' section or through following the link on your invitation.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by September 5th. Any RSVPs not received by this time will be considered a 'no'.
Can I wear jeans?
Please do not wear jeans to this event! The ceremony is a formal and important religious event, and wearing jeans would not be an appropriate show of reverence.
In lieu of jeans, please adhere to the cocktail dress code detailed at the bottom of this page.
Will alcohol be provided?
At the reception, alcohol will be available for individual purchase (à la cash bar type vibes).
We ask that you refrain from consuming alcohol prior to the ceremony and continue to refrain until your arrival at the reception.
As this is a Catholic wedding, if alcohol is consumed prior to / during the ceremony, the Church maintains the right to invalidate the vows made. For this reason, we implore you to refrain from any alcohol consumption prior to arriving at the reception.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation lists your name "and guest", then yes! You can bring a plus one! If your invitation lists only your name, please do not bring any additional guests.
Should I bring my children?
While this wedding is relatively child-friendly, we ask that your children only attend if they are listed on your invitation (either by number or by name).
I have dietary restrictions. How will those be accommodated?
When you RSVP, there will be a place for you to list any dietary restrictions. We should be able to accommodate any dietary needs, just let us know!
Specific questions regarding cross-contamination or allergies might be able to be answered via Christopher's website (www.christophersdsm.com) or by calling the restaurant at (515) 274-3694.
I'm in need of coffee! Where can I get that?
Although Stuart does have a coffee shop, we recommend driving 15 minutes east to Earlham's Beans & Beignets! It has real coffee and real food and is very good and fun! There are also infinitely many coffee shops in Waukee and West Des Moines. Literally any option outside of Stuart is safe; don't get Stuart coffee. We promise you'll regret it.
I'm from out of town. Where can I stay?
As the reception will conclude in the Beaverdale neighbhorhood of Des Moines, we would recommend lodging in Des Moines instead of Stuart. Please see "Travel" for specific recommendations.
What are the vibes?
Garden Party; Colorful.
Dress code is cocktail.
Please don't wear white / cream / ivory dresses (literally don't).
