Ellie and Brendan met during one of the many parties hosted by the Churchill Ct Crew! Ellie’s parents, Julie and Kevin Sphar, lived on the same street as Brendan’s Dad and Stepmom, Steve Kerr and Emily Gutfreund. Brendan was always visiting his dad during the summers and holiday breaks. Ellie and Brendan would play ghost in the graveyard with the neighborhood kids then Brendan eventually asked Ellie to go mini golfing with him. Ellie won mini-golfing and knew she was the one since he met his match at mini golf! They went on multiple bowling, ice cream, and dinner dates over the following summers and holiday breaks until they were inseparable since summer of 2020. They lived in Dayton & Cincinnati, OH while Ellie finished college then moved to Jacksonville, FL after graduation. When they were visiting Jacksonville prior to the move, they went to lunch downtown then Brendan begged Ellie to go to a beautiful scenic outlook area over the Riverside area. After living in Jacksonville for 6 months, Ellie thought she was showing her family and close friends this beautiful outlook on the city, but Brendan sneakily proposed here! They have been loving Jacksonville since and added a member to their family, Maverick, their crazy French bulldog puppy!
