How to get to Martha’s Vineyard from Boston airport?

Martha's Vineyard is accessible by the Steamship Authority Ferry Service. You will need to travel to Woods Hole to the Ferry Terminal to get to the Island (approx 2 hours drive). You can do this through a Ride Share Service (Uber, Lyft, private car hire) or purchasing bus tickets in advance (We recommend Peter Pan or P&B Plymouth & Brockton) *Flights are possible through Cape Air or other carriers, however, these can be very pricey. Once you get to the Ferry Terminal you can easily purchase your tickets at the ticketing agency for approximately $10 one way.

What if I plan to drive to Woods Hole but don’t wish to bring my car to the island?

You can easily park your vehicle at the Palmer Lot in Falmouth and a free shuttle brings you to directly to the ferry terminal. The Fall rates for parking are approx $14 per day. Call (508) 548-5011, ext. 291 for any parking questions
