Connor and Ellie first met in Chicago through mutual friends. After seeing each other out several times, one of which Ellie was dressed as Guy Fieri and Connor was dressed as a penguin, Connor mustered up the courage to ask Ellie out. Their first few dates involved a lot of audibles until they realized the need to make reservations. After Ellie moved from Lakeview to Bucktown (much closer to Connor, although that “wasn’t” the reason for the move according to Ellie) their relationship truly blossomed.

After a few amazing years in Chicago, Connor and Ellie made the big decision to move to Washington DC. They wanted to try a new city, make new friends, and experience the east coast. After moving into a bigger place, things started to feel a bit empty at home so they adopted a puppy, Teddy (also known to many as “perfect angel” or “Little T”). Teddy introduced a lot of chaos into their lives but also even more love. Soon after, while Ellie was in Croatia, Connor traveled to KC to speak with Ellie’s parents and her sister Grace to plan a proposal. And in July 2023, to Ellie’s complete surprise, Connor proposed. Writing our story has brought back a lot of amazing memories for Connor and Ellie and they can’t wait to make more with you in November!
