Jenna and Elliot met on Hinge—surprisingly enough, since online dating can be a challenge. Their first date was supposed to be simple: grabbing ice cream. However, Elliot couldn’t eat carbs that day (a little bit of a picky eater moment, haha), so instead they went to a beautiful dinner at Restoration Hardware. They talked and laughed until the restaurant closed, and as the night wrapped up, Elliot smiled and asked, “So, when do I get to see you again?” Safe to say, they were both hooked from the very start. Their second date was unforgettable. Elliot invited Jenna out on his boat, and what began as a fun evening at 5:00 PM turned into hours of deep conversation, lasting until 3:00 AM—on a weeknight! The next day at work was rough, but it was completely worth it. Just two weeks later, Elliot asked Jenna to be his girlfriend—he knew he had to lock it down quickly. That same weekend, Jenna courageously went to Elliot’s family cabin and met his entire family. It was early in the relationship, but Elliot was already so confident in her and in them. From there, late nights became a theme, as they couldn’t get enough of talking and being together. Since those early days, they’ve shared countless adventures: concerts, trying incredible food, fishing trips, pickleball matches, traveling, and many Green Bay getaways. But through it all, the most consistent theme has been laughter and fun. Every single day together feels like a blessing—something new to experience and another opportunity to laugh. Elliot always says he’s gotten funnier since meeting Jenna, simply because he wants to hear her cute laugh as much as possible. Only a couple of months into their relationship, Elliot already knew Jenna was the woman he wanted to marry. A little over a year later, he proposed on Lake Minnetonka, a place special to them both (it was the location of the famous 2nd date). Thankfully, Jenna said yes! Jenna and Elliot are incredibly grateful to God for blessing them with such a strong and joyful relationship. With Jesus Christ at the center of their marriage and surrounded by supportive family and friends, they can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together, building a future full of love, laughter, and adventure.
