We met in 2020 through Tinder. I was a freshman at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and he was a junior. We matched with each other and Elliot reached out to me first with a very cute, but also cheesy pickup line. We agreed to meet up a few days later in the Nebraska Union and get lunch at Chick-fil-a. It was then, that Elliot quickly learned that I would steal all his fries on any dates we went on in the future.

A few days later, he invited me over to his apartment where he cooked me tuscan chicken pasta and made me sangrias. The next night he asked me to be his girlfriend!

Fast forward to a little more than three years of dating... On May 23, 2023 Elliot proposed on the beach at sunset in Galveston, Texas.
