For those traveling via plane to get to North Hero, we recommend a few options (all of which we have done ourselves).

1) Burlington Airport (BTV) is a small airport, so finding direct flights sometimes isn't easy, but it is doable with a layover from most major airports.

2) Boston Logan (BOS) is about 3.5 hours away from the area and a straightforward drive. If you are looking for more direct flight options, there are plenty more available at this airport than BTV. Greyhound provides a bus line from Boston to Burlington if you don't want to rent a car.

3) Montreal QC (YUL). We have flown through Montreal to travel, and the border crossing is relatively easy. Similar to Boston, there are more options for direct flights. There is also a Greyhound bus that runs this route for those who don't want to rent a car.
