Elliott and Avery met through Elliott's brother and best man, Will. Will and his wife introduced them and the rest is history. They dated through Elliott's final years at Anderson University and through Avery's entire career at Clemson University. Elliott popped the question during Avery's final year at Clemson and they are now both teaching and planning a wedding in all their spare time. They recently adopted a dog together too!
