Ellis and Justin met at work and became fast friends. They sat 20 feet away from each other and bonded over their love of music and margaritas. Fast friends turned into best friends that spring.

During the summer, they started dating. They spent the majority of their time on the ocean front enjoying live music and sunsets. That summer they went to over 10 concerts including one of their favorites, Jimmy Buffett.

Later that summer, Justin became an official member of the OBX beach group. Once they got home, they talked about next steps in their relationship. They moved in together that September. (No clue how they survived with only one closet)

That Thanksgiving, Justin took Ellis to Iowa for the first time. Within the first few months of their relationship, they were already welcomed happily into each other's families.

Bring on a new year! Not many pictures were taken in 2020. The year was spent in comfy clothes, face masks, and in a new apartment (with three closets!)

Welcome home, Jimmy! Their lives would change forever as they brought home the sweetest, goofiest, and hungriest little boy. Named after one of their favorite musicians of course!

One of their favorite trips together. A little cabin outside of Roanoke where Jimmy got to chase birds and steal marshmallows by the campfire.

That OBX trip, Ellis told Justin that if he was ever going to propose, she wanted it to be here at the beach. It was already their favorite place with some of their favorite people!

Justin decide to train for his first half marathon! He spent that whole summer getting up before the sun and running at the oceanfront. Ellis supported him by training for a 5k. She barely made it, and Justin pulled her over the finish line!

A favorite memory of theirs! Justin took Ellis to see the famous "Bean" in Chicago! Of course they stopped for deep dish pizza!

First concert since 2019, of course it had to be Kenny Chesney. In true fashion, Ellis spilled every single drink but also made sure to scream sing every song (with Justin singing back up of course.)

After 3 years together, the questions started coming "When are Ellis and Justin going to get married?!"

Amana is another one of their favorite places. Tucked away in Iowa, Amana has some of the best giant pretzels, fudge, and breweries!

Their first cruise! One of the best trips ever in Miami, Key West, and Bimini. After, they decided they are indeed "cruise people," and couldn't wait to book the next one!

That year at OBX he finally asked, and she almost fell over.

Ellis finally regained consciousness. Justin made her dreams come true, proposing in their favorite place!
