Top of the Rock is located very close to Big Cedar. If you plan on doing one activity while you are in Branson, this is the one we recommend! You can tour the beautiful Ozark scenery on golf carts at Top of the Rock. This is a must do activity!
If you're feeling adventurous, hop on a kayak and float down Lake Taneycomo. We highly recommend White River Kayaking and visit every time we come to Branson!
If you're staying in the Branson area and have the urge to mini golf, Pirate's Cove is the place to go. We have (literally) golfed here a hundred times over the past 15 years and still can't wait to play again.
Silver Dollar City is an old-timey themed amusement park located just southwest of Branson. Even if you aren't into roller coasters, the scenery and shops at Silver Dollar City are still worth the visit.
Dogwood Canyon is located about 30 minutes away from Big Cedar and is another Johnny Morris owned property. It is an absolutely beautiful area - while there, you can tour the property in a tram, on a bike, or on foot.
If you've never tried an escape room before (or even if you're an expert), we HIGHLY recommend checking out Escape Code on Gretna Road. This is the best escape room company in Branson!
Owned by the same owners of Escape Code and located in the same area, The Axe Game is awesome! Jacob and I had never thrown axe's before, but we recently tried at the Axe Game and loved it. Can you guess who got more bullseyes?
The State Park Marina is open to visitors to rent boats, jet ski's, or catamaran tours. We took a sunset cruise on the catamaran a couple of years ago and it was SO beautiful.
Dick's 5 & 10 old-time store is a Branson staple. We love to visit each time we are in Branson. It's located in downtown Branson near The Landing. Be sure to check it out for neat nick-nacks!
The Branson Aquarium is a new addition to the Branson Strip. There's tons of neat aquatic life at the aquarium - including sharks.
Johnny Morris's Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium is located about an hour north of Branson. We visited a couple of years ago when it first opened and it was outstanding! Be sure to check it out.
There are several go-cart courses in Branson owned by The Track. We loved riding these when we were little and still enjoy them now. While you are go-carting, you can check out the Branson Ferris Wheel, too.
The Titanic Museum on the strip is a Branson icon.
Presleys' is the original show on the Branson strip. If you love country and gospel music with funny humor, this is the show for you.
If you are going to do a show in Branson, Dixie Stampede is the show to see. While eating a great meal, you also get to see a show with horses, buffalo, and other entertaining aspects.
The Landing is located in downtown Branson on the riverfront. There's a lot of unique shopping opportunities, great food options, and even a big arcade (including a bowling alley),
Tanger is located right off of the strip and has lots of neat outlet stores - including Under Armor and Vera Bradley (our favorites!)
The Grand Village is home to several unique stores, including an all-year round Christmas shop. While you're there, don't miss Sugar Leaf Bakery - they have great lunch options and sweet treats! They are also making our wedding cake.
You can never go wrong with Chick-fil-a
