Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world-famous Whitehaven Beach, pristine snorkeling reefs, and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks.

Super-fast, semi-rigid inflatable vessels allow you to experience a fun ride, adventure, and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.

Please be advised that this tour departs only from Airlie Beach, and a transfer and additional fee from Palm Bay Resort, Long Island will need to be arranged prior. This can be booked through Palm Bay Resort.

We have a beautiful ecosystem just outside our doorstep and we strongly recommend you go for a snorkel during your stay.

Snorkel gear is available at Reception and the team can always suggest the best places to go depending on the time of your stay.

Our kayaks and paddle boards are free for use. See reception for the location of the equipment.

Life vests are also available that can be inflated if needed in an emergency.

At the back of the resort is a tennis court. You can collect rackets for this are located in the Island Shop located by reception alongside tennis balls. These are also free of charge.

Surrounded by the island is beautiful Nation Parks. You can do several walks around Palm Bay and the map can be located here.

Please note, the local government can close these tracks to ensure preservation and safety.

You can fish during your stay and the Island Shop has fishing rods and basic items to help you out.

Please note, fishing does cost an additional $15.

If you are lucky to catch something, you can prepare the fish and give it to the team who are happy to cook it up for you.
