For out of town guests, we recommend flying into Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP). The airport is approximately 30 minutes away from our venue, the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel (The Depot) and from Holy Family Catholic Church, respectively.We recommend renting a car or taking an Uber from the airport. For those up for public transportation, the Metro Transit light rail train is available to ride from the airport.

There are great options near the Depot for food and drinks! - Milwaukee Road. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant. - EaTo Minneapolis. Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel. We recommend trying the penne alla vodka! - Crooked Pint Ale House. Approximately a block away from the hotel. Great beer and cider selection, and they make a mean Juicy Lucy. -Dunn Bros. Coffee. A local staple, this coffee shop is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is near the North Loop District of Minneapolis, which has trendy coffee shops, restaurants, and bars for those interested in exploring.

The Minneapolis Art Institute has a vast permanent collection featuring works by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Gauguin. If you can make a visit, you won’t be disappointed. General admission is free!

Minneapolis Institute of Art

Mill City Museum is an iconic part of Minneapolis history. The mill was once the largest flour mill in the country but in 1878, just four years after opening, it exploded when a spark ignited airborne flour dust. It is walking distance from the hotel and open Thursday-Sunday.
