They met 6 months after Jackson’s mission. Jackson best friend (best man) McGuire said that one of them should take out Elsie Trunnell cause she is so cute. Jackson shook it off until November when McGuire said it again and Jackson said he’d do it. Jackson texted Elsie and asked her on a date, and she accepted. Jackson picked her up at Bajio in Provo and took her on their first date. They got dinner and hot tubbed, and just chatted about life. Jackson quickly liked how sweet and kind Elsie is. They went on a few more dates and started to really like each other. Jackson was so nervous to kiss her, he couldn’t for over a month. He called her and said he really liked her and that he was trying to be respectful. They soon planned a dinner date at the location of the reception, Le Meridian, and hot tubbed. They had their first kiss in the hot tub overlooking Salt Lake. Elsie invited Jackson to a Christmas company party, and that’s when Jackson knew he had to date her. Jackson asked her to be his girlfriend a few days later, and she said, “Imma think about it.” 3 days later she decided it’d be worth a try. About a month in they fell wildly in love, and it was so fun. They got engaged by the Provo River in a very beautiful set up Jessica and Maddie put together. They love each other so much.
