Our Wedding

<p class="ql-align-center">Jake and Elly met through a mutual friend in the fall of 2018 in which they immediately sparked up a friendship on a trip to the Minnesota state fair. Summer of 2020, Jake and Elly both bonded through their mutual experiences with the Minnesota National Guard. October 31st of 2020, Jake was on a hunting trip in Iowa, a short drive from Elly's apartment in Mankato. Elly bribed Jake to come hang out with toppers pizza, and the rest is history. October 31st of 2022 marked Jake and Elly's two-year anniversary, in which has been a busy two years. May of 2021 Jake and Elly moved into their first place together in Brookings, SD, while Jake finished up his last year of college. Upon graduation, Jake and Elly moved to Sioux Falls, SD, and got their second place together, while Elly continued her career as an addictions counselor, and Jake interned, working towards a full time position with a construction company. After Jake was hired full time, Jake and Elly bought their first home together September 19th of 2022. Jake proposed September 16th of 2022, at a quiet place in the country where he took Elly duck hunting for the first time.</p>

<p class="ql-align-center">As you may have noticed, Bigfork is not a big place! Due to this, nearby lodging is limited and we are unable to block rooms. We reccomend reserving rooms well in advance to ensure availability. You can also check with Airbnb and VRBO for other options. There is a large variety of hotels available in Grand Rapids which is about a 45 minute drive from the venue.</p>
