When Austin met Elyse Austin in Austin Texas

Elyse and Austin were set up on a blind date by their friends Rex and Madeline on Labor Day, 2020. They met at Kerbey lane and sat awkwardly next to each other while trying to make... really, any type of conversation. It took about three hours, but Elyse finally got Austin out of his shell!

On October 15th, 2020, Austin asked Elyse to be his girlfriend. Despite her saying no.. she caved and said yes three days later. They spent nine months in a long-distance relationship before Elyse got an opportunity to move to Olympia, WA so that they could be together.

On April 3rd, 2023, Austin popped the question. Elyse said yes!
