WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

We are requesting our wedding to be a formal celebration for all. We are asking our guests to please wear

”Black Tie Optional" attire.

This traditionally means tuxedos

or dark suit and tie for men.

For ladies, long gowns, midi-dresses,

formal cocktail dresses

and elegant pant suits.

Please refrain from wearing colors

reserved for the bride,

such as white, cream, and ivory.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Weather permitting,

the cocktail hour will be held both

outside on the patio as well as indoors.

WHAT IS AUTUMN WEATHER LIKE IN INDIANAPOLS?

The middle of October in Indianapolis traditionally sees average daily temperatures in the 60s-70s during the day and

low to mid 50s-60s in the evening.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?

Unless your guest is explicitly written on the invitation, we kindly ask that you

do not bring a plus one.

Due to the venue capacity limitations that

Laurel Hall and Hotel Carmichael

can provide, service will

only be extended to the guests

listed on your invitation.

Please respect and be aware that not all guests are able to be given a plus one.

We are so excited to celebrate with you!

ARE KIDS INVITED TO THE WEDDING?

While we love and adore

everybody's families,

unfortunately we

cannot accomodate kids

at the wedding festivities with the exception of immediate family as expressed in the invitations.

We hope you understand

and enjoy the weekend off!

I SEE YOU HAVE 3 HOTELS LISTED IN THE ROOM BLOCK, CAN WE BOOK OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM BLOCK?

Yes, if you book at any of our

3 recommended hotels,

Hotel Carmichael,

Drury Plaza Hotel and Hyatt Place,

please make sure to let us know the name on the reservation and reservation number. We have a set number of guaranteed

rooms set aside for our guests.

This also allows us to plan for the

shuttle buses we are arranging

to take our registered guests to and from

the wedding venue complimentary.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TO HOTELS

The three host hotels do not offer free transportation to or from the airport to the hotels, but we have included a page here with in-depth information on Indianapolis Airport car rental companies,

taxis, and Uber and Lyft information.

It is approximately a 30 minute drive with no traffic from Indianapolis Airport

to any of the three hotels.

If you would like to honor us

with a gift, we are grateful.

A wedding card box will be

at our reception.

Or our registry is available on a page below. We kindly request you please

have your gift shipped

to our home in Colorado.
