We met at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in the summer of 2021. Elyse was a counselor, and Alec was the videographer. Elyse's junior campers adored Alec and wanted him around all week. Before long, we were both falling for each other.

Alec and Elyse started dating that summer. But Alec had to go back to Iowa, and Elyse back to Flagstaff. So we started dating long distance for 2 years. Lots of flights, facetimes, and nightly calls got us through it.

After graduating, Alec moved out to Flagstaff with Elyse. In October 24, 2024, Alec proposed.

We're now living in Albuquerque with our two cats, Subi and Boba, while Elyse is in school. We're so happy to be celebrating our marriage with all of you in the beautiful state of New Mexico!
