As many of you may know, Marty and I met in high school. We actually lived around the corner from each other and hung out with the same group of friends. Marty would throw the occasional rock at my window and profess his affection after a beer or two...

It wasn't until years later, on a Sunday night in August - karaoke at The Snooty Fox - that we shared our first kiss! After a month or two of pursuit (on my part this time), we officially started dating and have been together ever since!

Throughout our years of dating, Marty 'proposed' on a number of occasions. Naturally, on the night we got engaged, Marty first 'proposed' with a ring pop of Nemo (yes, THE Nemo from Finding Nemo). Before I could react with a choice word or two he was down on one knee in our living room with a gorgeous ring in hand asking me to marry him. And, of course I said YES!
