Elysia and Brock met originally in 2012/2013 when Elysia's co-worker, who was Brock's friend, hosted a house party.

Elysia and Brock spoke at the party and Brock later added her on Facebook. He asked her to join him and some friends who were going swimming at the Prairie Oasis, and Elysia joined. After talking for a few months, Brock and Elysia's conversations died down.

Fast Forward 7 years to fall of 2019, Elysia's and Brock's fate reunited them at the Cornerstone Bar. Elysia was there for a hockey meeting and Brock was having supper after work with the guy's. While Elysia was waiting for her friend, Jessica, to finish work, Brock saw Elysia and said hi. They exchanged pleasantries and later Brock messaged Elysia, asking her to go for coffee.

Elysia happily agreed to meet up with Brock at the Tim's on south-hill. The two had a great visit and enjoyed their time together and agreed they should do this again.

You probably already know this, but Elysia likes to keep busy. Although she had a lovely meet-up with Brock, she felt she wasn't in a place to date and told Brock she was busy doing x, y, & z, which was not a lie. Brock being the helpful guy he is, insisted on helping Elysia, so he could spend more time with her.

Elysia appreciated the persistence, companionship, and kindness Brock showed her, and hanging out soon became second nature.

Brock and Elysia have dated for 3 years before becoming engaged on December 25, 2022.

August 4, 2024 is their Happily Ever After.
