At 18 years old you don’t plan to meet your soulmate but on a summer night in 2011 that all changed. Elyssa and Alex had their first date at the movie theater. Although neither one of them remembers what the movie was about, what they do remember is instant connection they felt, as though they had known each other forever. Neither one wanted the night to end but if they wanted to continue to see each other Alex knew he had to get Elyssa home in time for her curfew. After that night they were inseparable…. After seven years of dating, on October 10th, 2018, against the stunning backdrop of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Alex proposed to Elyssa with the presence of both Elyssa's mom, grandparents, and Alex's mom, making the moment even more beautiful and memorable.

While many couples would have immediately begun planning their wedding, Elyssa and Alex decided to pursue more dreams together before planning their special day.

Together, Elyssa and Alex faced significant challenges, such as opening a business just three months before a global pandemic struck. Faced with these unforeseen circumstances, they realized that in order to achieve the wedding of their dreams, they needed to postpone their plans and navigate this uncertain period together. Through perseverance and dedication, they have overcome obstacles, experienced growth, and are now prepared to embark on the next chapter of their lives together!
