Our ceremony and reception are both being held in the backyard of family friends of the bride. We are excited to celebrate with you in this relaxed and intimate setting, and we can’t wait for you to see the hosts’ beautiful gardens!
What on Earth does the “Garden Party” Dress Code Mean?
Basically, cocktail attire with grass-friendly shoes. Have fun and be yourself! But no jeans or the bride might pop a blood vessel.
What happens if it Rains?
Hood River sees very little rain in May. However, if we get particularly unlucky in the precipitation department we have a tent and can move parts of the wedding inside the hosts' home. Rain or no, May temperatures in Oregon can vary, so we encourage guests to bring a wrap in case it gets chilly in the evening.
Where can Guests Park?
Since this is an intimate wedding, guests should be able to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. This is a residential area, so we ask that all guests be courteous to the neighbors and be careful not to block driveways.
A Note on Guest List
Because this is a small, backyard wedding, there were many people that we love that we were unable to invite. For this reason we cannot accommodate anyone not listed on the invitation, and our event is 21+.
