If You Ask Brandon: "We first met about 7 years ago without even knowing it but just knowing of each other through mutual friends. Later on, reconnecting through social media years later. We first started hanging out and I always knew something about her felt right. I never could quite figure out what it was, but once we started dating and I got to know her more and more I knew she was my person. Like any relationship there are those hard days, but she makes those hard days easy and since the day we first started seeing each other (after ghosting me for about 4 months), I've known she was my person."

If You Ask Emalyn: "I first met Brandon... well, kind of, like 7-ish years ago. But really, we reconnected and officially met in 2020 thanks to social media. Then, for reasons I can't even explain (probably just life being weird), I completely stopped talking to him for a while. But, of course, I came to my senses and reached out again. We started hanging out more often, and by January of 2021, we were officially dating. From the start, there was something about Brandon that made me feel safe, but I was not able to place it. He’s the most patient person I’ve ever met—which is a bit ironic considering I am not. He has an incredible way of making me feel truly seen and heard, even when I’m saying nothing at all. It’s like he just gets me, in a way no one else has.

I feel beyond fortunate to have Brandon by my side, sharing our lives together. From the memories we’ve created and the laughs we’ve had, to the lessons we’ve learned and the ups and downs we’ve faced—whether it’s new beginnings, new homes, losses or everything in between—I’m constantly reminded of just how lucky we are to experience these moments hand in hand.

We recently celebrated our four-year anniversary in February of this year and here we are getting married the same year! I always knew he was the man I would marry when I first met him despite breaking up with him a week into dating. ;)"
